Major players in my career

Welcome to Rand Peck Aviation Photography. I spent 38 very enjoyable years flying as an airline pilot and loved every minute of it. I carried a camera with me for much of that time attempting to capture those experiences. Essentially, this is my on line scrapbook that I hope others may enjoy as well. Most shots were taken from my cockpit seat or on an airline ramp during a walk around inspection. Select a "TAB" above to see the airplanes, people, trips, training, layovers and views that I enjoyed.

Hawking rides at a country airshow with the Stearman
Giving rides in the Stearman was a ball and I met very interesting people. I had two ride options; a simple straight & level half hour tour of the southern NH mountains listening to the soft beat of a seven cylinder radial engine and the other ride incorporated loops, rolls, spins and hammerheads into the standard ride. There was nothing straight & level about it. Seventy-five percent of the flights were aerobatic!
If you peruse my site, you'll soon discover  that flying wasn't a job for me, nor a career, but simply a way of life.
A very enjoyable way of life at that.

Sampling of the cameras that I carried with me. They had to be compact, quick, easy to use and produce quality photos.
